Glad I could save you some duckets! These cars are expensive enough to work on as it is... Yea it was was just a blown SMD fuse. The previous owner had kludged it by bypassing it with some wire and a standard automotive fuse. I replaced it with a proper SMD. Ken said it was making a weird rattling noise... just the fuse flopping about inside. Now, no more rattle, no more kludge, good as new!
